Shared drains are one of the most misunderstood parts of residential drainage — and one of the most expensive to ignore.

We were contacted by a homeowner in Chiswick, W4 who was experiencing a serious rat infestation linked to his drainage system. Rats had entered the property, with two being seen in the kitchen, and scratching noises could be heard inside the bedroom walls. This was understandably causing significant distress for his wife and children and required urgent professional attention.
